Here at Age UK Barnsley, we are here proud to be providing free warm homes checks for residents aged 50+ who are struggling to afford their heating bills and want to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

What does a Warm Homes Check involve?

• Initial assessment to check the energy efficiency of your home
• Advice on how you can improve your home’s energy efficiency.
• Provide and fit free energy saving lightbulbs; draught excluders; and radiator foil covers - to meet your needs.
• Signposting to specialist agencies that deal with energy and fuel poverty.
