Bedford's biggest wellbeing event for people aged 50 and over returns this October

Age UK Bedfordshire is delighted to announce the return of its popular Ageing Well Exhibition, taking place on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at the Bedford Corn Exchange from 10am to 2.30pm.

The free community event will bring together a wide range of local organisations, service providers and community groups, all dedicated to helping older people stay healthy, active, connected and independent.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore information and advice stands covering health, wellbeing, benefits support, community activities, energy-saving solutions and local services. The exhibition has been designed to provide practical guidance and inspiration for older adults looking to make the most of later life.

As well as valuable information and support, attendees can enjoy a range of interactive activities throughout the day. Highlights include yoga and chair-based exercise taster sessions, complimentary hand massages, and the chance to discover new hobbies, groups and opportunities available across Bedfordshire.

The event aims to connect local residents with trusted services that can support their physical, emotional and financial wellbeing while encouraging social connections within the community.

In addition to free entry, visitors will be able to enjoy complimentary refreshments and take part in a free raffle draw, making the exhibition an enjoyable and informative day out for all.

Age UK Bedfordshire hopes the event will help people learn about the many resources available in the local area and empower them to maintain their independence and wellbeing for years to come.
