Catering Assistant (2 posts)

The Jubilee Centre is an activity centre for people aged 50 and over, situated next to the beautiful Lido in Clarence Park. We are opening the Chatterbox Café during summer on Saturdays as a pilot project. We are seeking to appoint two part-time Catering Assistants to work in the cafe.

Hours: The hours are Saturdays 10.15 to 3.30 and we aim to be open between 4th May to 28th September 2019 .

Rate of Pay: £8.21

Minibus Driver 

Age UK Bury runs four "Friends Together" groups to bring older people together. Our groups are aimed at people, aged 65 and over, who rarely see anyone from week to week or need a little extra support to get out for the day. An essential element of Friends Together is the provision of a minibus service to support people with limited mobility to get to the groups. We are seeking a minibus driver to help older people to get to see their friends.

Rate of Pay: £8.21

Location: The minibuses are parked in Clarence Park. The service is located in Bury on Monday, in Prestwich on Tuesday, in Whitefield on Wednesday and in Radcliffe on Thursday.

Hours: 16 Hours / week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 8.45 am to 10.45 and 3.15 pm to 5.15 pm
