 HOW THE SERVICE WORKS

  • Contact us by Telephone or Email
  • Initial discussion of the work need to be done.
  • Check if work is within or outside of our scope.
    (If outside of our scope - e.g. requires a roofer or an electrician etc, we will try to assist the client by referring them to one of our trusted contacts).
  • If the work is initially deemed to be within our scope, we will arrange a suitable day and time for our Handyperson to visit.

Depending on the work involved, this visit will be to either:

  • Complete the work. Payment will be required on the day it is completed.
  • Assess and give an estimate for the work.
    (At this point advising what materials the client will need to purchase or if they are unable to get the materials themselves, source and obtain for them). Once confirmed client wishes to proceed and all materials are available, we will arrange a slot for the work to be completed.

There is no charge for this visit.
Should we find on review that the work is not within our scope, we will then offer advice and signpost to relevant trades people who may be able to help.

SOME OF THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Small DIY and repair jobs such as fitting handrails and security locks, putting up shelves, curtain rails and wall decorations; assembling flat pack furniture; minor plumbing, painting and decorating work and changing light bulbs. 

CHARGES AND PAYMENT METHODS

There is no call out fee.

Our labour charges are:
Minimum charge up to 1 hour   -     £35
Subsequent hours                     -     £25

Payment can be by card, cash or cheque.

To get best value for money we advise client to make a list of jobs we can undertake on one visit.

OPERATIONAL DETAILS

Our Handyperson undertakes jobs Monday to Friday.

Our Handyperson Admin Office is staffed Tuesday to Thursday between 8.30 am and 16.00 pm.

We aim to respond to phone calls and messages within 48 hours (excluding weekends).
