Sustainable Transport Service continues to help Cornwall Residents

The Sustainable transport service aims to improve connection links and provide transport solutions throughout Cornwall. Its focus is on increasing independence, reducing social isolation, and improving the health & wellbeing of local residents. It provides environmentally friendly, fully accessible, cost-effective transport for all communities. 

Our team have been busy analysing the data and trip records for Quarter 2, and we thought it might be nice to show an infographic that highlights the Sustainable Transport Service.

Key Notes

  • Meals on Wheels at our Community Hub transport has increased by 21%.
  • Hospital to Home, Active Living & Home Support, and Social Prescribing teams also use the Sustainable Transport Service to support clients and patients.
  • Trips range from regular hub & care transport to local outings for communities. We also provide social trips and access to health appointments. 
  • Our group transport in Penzance and Lanivet locations has increased, with wheelchair transportation services increasing by 18% - 211 total trips between April to June 2023.
