At Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire, our campaigns shine a light on the issues that matter most to older people. From promoting health and wellbeing to tackling loneliness and social challenges, each campaign is designed to create positive change in our community.

On this page, you can explore what we’re working on, understand why these issues are important, and see how our efforts are making a difference. We also invite you to get involved, whether by learning more, sharing your voice, or taking action alongside us. Help shape a better future for older people.

  • Act Now, Age Better

We’re all living longer and we want those extra years to be healthy, happy, and full of life. The choices we make today, especially in our 50s and 60s, can shape how well we live tomorrow. Keeping active now helps build strength, confidence, and independence, giving us the freedom to enjoy the things we love for longer.

Being active isn’t just about workouts or routines, it’s about finding movement that fits your life. Whether it’s a walk with friends, some gardening, or dancing around the kitchen, every bit counts. Staying active is one of the best ways to invest in your future self. Let's Change How We Age.

  • Winter Health

Winter can bring extra challenges, especially for older adults. At Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire, our Winter Health Campaign is here to help you stay safe, warm, and healthy during the colder months.

From practical tips and advice to our Winter Warmer Packs, we’re supporting older adults to stay independent, connected, and comfortable all winter long. Let’s make this winter a season of warmth and wellbeing.

A Crisis Hiding in Plain Sight.

  • Need The Loo - Coventry

Access to public toilets is a vital part of enabling people, particularly older adults, to remain active, independent, and socially connected. We're working to improve public toilet facilities across the city, ensuring that everyone can visit local centres, shops, and community spaces with confidence.

By making toilet access easier and more reliable, we aim to reduce the barriers that can lead to loneliness and isolation. Knowing that safe, clean facilities are available encourages older people to get out, engage with their communities, and participate fully in everyday life. Improving public toilet provision is about more than convenience, it's about supporting dignity, independence, and social inclusion for all.
