Act Now, Age Better Campaign 2025

Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire have launched a campaign nationally in coordination with Age UK called “Act Now, Age Better”.
This campaign is intended to encourage "mid lifers" (those aged 50-65) to get, or keep moving - changing how they age by improving their health and wellbeing as they get older, to help them live their best possible later lives.
Research by Age UK has found that:
-
2.8 million people aged 50–64 (around 25%) are physically inactive (engaging in less than 30 minutes of activity per week), which puts them at higher risk of lifestyle-related health conditions and the potential loss of independence.
-
Regular physical activity can reduce the risk of premature death by up to 30%.
Our goal is to shift the perception of ageing and activity — from exercise as a chore to movement as empowerment. We want to inspire people to think about the later life they’d like to have, and how staying active now can help them enjoy life to the fullest in the years ahead.
