Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire celebrates Volunteers' Week 2025. An amazing opportunity to commemorate and thank all of those who give up their time to help others, one of the most important weeks in the Age UK Calendar. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without volunteers.

Volunteers operate all aspects of the charity, including Retail, Information & Advice, Counselling, Befriending Service, Dementia Day Opportunities and the Gilbert Richards Centre.

Chair of Trustees, Mark Harris, has written to all volunteers on behalf of the charity:

'Whether you’re offering support and advice, working in our shops, making calls, or simply lending a helping hand, the impact of what you do is both direct and lasting. Thanks to your efforts, older people across the region are better able to stay independent, access the support they need, and feel more connected. It’s important work, and we couldn’t do it without you.'

'Over the past year, our volunteer community has grown to over 360 people across Coventry and Warwickshire— a fantastic achievement that reflects the strength of our local communities.'
