Winter Warmth

Winter Warmth

Published on 23 January 2024 10:10 AM

It is estimated around 45% of older people are currently finding it difficult to pay their energy bills.* Those affected are less likely to put their heating on to stay warm which can have a detrimental impact on health and wellbeing, with older people at more risk of developing health issues as a result of living in a cold home.

In the last six months, the number of calls made to our Help Team has more than doubled. The time and complexity of calls has increased, with more callers struggling to pay their household energy bills due to the increase in cost-of-living.

The demand for our services has dramatically increased.
