Mental Health Awareness Month (May 2025)
Mental Health Awareness Week is taking place this year between 12th and 18th of May. The aim of the week organised by the Mental Health Foundation, is to raise awareness of mental health, and promote mental wellbeing, through reflection, conversation and support for those experiencing mental health challenges.
The theme this year is on 'Community', highlighting the importance of belonging to a community and its effect on mental health and wellbeing. Communities can provide us with emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging that reduces isolation. Read more about this on the Mental Health Foundation website.

The group provides a safe, welcoming space empowering attendees to take positive steps toward improving their mental well-being. Each session focuses on a different mental health related topic to promote an understanding of different mental health conditions and offers an opportunity to develop new coping mechanisms.
