Celebrate Silver Sunday 2025 with Age UK Islington!
Silver Sunday is a national day celebrating older people, bringing communities together through fun, free activities.
This year, the main day falls on Sunday 5 October 2025, but Age UK Islington is marking the occasion with a week of special events from Friday 3 to Friday 10 October, in partnership with local activity providers.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to try something new, get active, and connect with others in your local area. Activities are open to anyone aged 50+ who lives in Islington or has an Islington GP.

From guided walks to a special ‘pay what you can’ theatre matinee, there’s something for everyone. Spaces are limited, so booking is required for most events - details for each activity are listed on the poster below.
