Celebrate Islington's Silver Sunday Week of Events 2025 

Silver Sunday is a national day celebrating older people, bringing communities together through fun, free activities.

A week of fun events for 50yrs+ from 3 - 10 October

Join Age UK Islington for a week of special events from Friday 3 to Friday 10 October, in partnership with - Sadler's Wells, Cubitt Arts, Octopus, Elizabeth House, Park Theatre and Islington Ecology Centre.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to try something new, get active, and connect with others in your local area. Activities are open to anyone aged 50+ who lives in Islington or has an Islington GP.

From guided walks to a special ‘pay what you can’ theatre matinee, there’s something for everyone. Spaces are limited, so booking is required for most events.

👉 Events that are fully booked - The Octopus Community Network Jam and Chutney Making event is now fully booked, as is the Park Theatre matinee event organised together with Age UK Islington.

Elizabeth House Community Centre is on the ground floor has an accessible toilet.
