International Women's Day

Published on 18 March 2026 02:58 PM

We celebrated International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, with a morning of poetry and discussion at Highbury Roundhouse Community Centre earlier this month.

We heard from Women and Girls Councillor Saiqa Pandor, along with poems and music from members of the community.

See photos and videos from the celebratory day below!

We are grateful to Highbury Roundhouse Community Centre for the opportunity to partner together to deliver this event.
