Park Cuppa: Songs with Lili

On Wednesday, we had our special edition Park Cuppa: a musical session with special guest Lili. At Cally Clock Tower Centre, the singer-songwriter and guitarist Dan covered hits from Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, and others, while attendees sang along to her warm voice.

“It was an absolutely lovely morning,” Jane, the community connector for Age UK Islington, said. Everyone was completely engaged, clapping, singing, and dancing to the music, and one attendee even stood up to perform his own song, she shared.

“A regular client of ours got up and sang at the front which was really lovely because it's the last person that I thought would do that,” she said. “It was lovely to see this person who attends regularly, but in a different way.”

Following the great success of the session, we’ve promised to host another musical park cuppa in the future.
