Age UK Lincolnshire is an independent local charity and a proud brand partner of Age UK, supporting more than 6,000 people every month. As an Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in expanding the range of opportunities available to older people across Lincolnshire. You’ll help deliver community events, promote our services, and support older residents to get involved in the diverse activities offered through our Activity Centre and within the wider community.

In this position, you’ll champion independence, wellbeing, and meaningful social connection. You’ll build strong relationships with local partners, identify new opportunities for engagement, and consult with older adults to understand their needs. You’ll also represent the charity at meetings and events, maintain accurate monitoring records, follow organisational policies, and uphold a proactive, person‑centred approach to supporting older people.

About the Role

  • Permanent contract
  • 25 hours per week
  • Based at 36 Park Street, Lincoln, with community work 
  • £17,633 per annum (£24,687 FTE)
  • Service operates Monday – Friday, with occasional flexibility depending on events
  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile (up to 10,000 miles)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance is essential

  • Positive attitude and commitment to confidentiality
  • Desirable but not essential:
  • Experience working in the voluntary sector or with older people
