Gardening Services

Nothing beats spending time outdoors; fresh air, the smell of the seasons, and that calming space to relax, reflect, and breathe deeply. We know how important gardens are, and we also understand that gardening can become more difficult with age.

At Age UK Lincolnshire, our Gardening Service is here to help you maintain and enjoy your outdoor space.

Wherever possible, we encourage customers to continue gardening alongside their gardener if it's something they enjoy. It’s a great way to stay active, and gardening is well known for its therapeutic benefits.

We always aim to provide the same friendly, reliable gardener on each visit, and many of our customers enjoy chatting with them as they work. Our gardeners are multi-skilled and can support you with a wide range of seasonal gardening tasks - come rain or shine!

You remain in control of your service. We’ll carry out an initial assessment to understand your needs and create a plan tailored to you. This could include general weekly maintenance, lawn care, or even support with one-off projects.

Tasks we can help with include:

• Mowing the lawn
• Weeding flower beds, planters and borders
• Pruning hedges and small bushes
• Planting and maintaining bulbs, plants, or vegetables

All of our gardeners are DBS checked and fully insured.

Please note:

• Customers must provide any tools or equipment required
• We are unable to remove green waste
• We cannot carry out tree felling or remove large bushes
