Community voices support Age UK Rotherham

30 July 2015

Age UK Rotherham has been nominated by St James Church in Clifton as the charity beneficiary for its Harvest Supper in 2015.

Clifton Community ChoirReverend Abi Thompson said, ‘There are many older people in Rotherham’s communities who benefit on a daily basis from the work Age UK Rotherham does so we are delighted to be supporting Age UK Rotherham at this year’s Harvest Supper.’

Clifton Community Choir and local school children will be singing at the event, which takes place on Sunday 4 October 2015. Reverend Thompson added, ‘Our community choir is made up of local people of all ages and new members are always welcome to join us’.

Julie Benson, Age UK Rotherham Fundraising Officer said, ‘We’re really pleased to be nominated as this year’s Harvest charity by St James Church Clifton and want to thank them for choosing to support Age UK Rotherham.’
