Live Well in Later Life in Trafford
Age UK Salford and Trafford lead the Live Well in Later Life project in Trafford.
Live Well in Later Life in Trafford builds on the success of the Ageing in Place Pathfinder, a programme which reached more than 3,000 older residents over three years, and focused on new ways of supporting older people in their local area.
We will aim to support older residents in Old Trafford, Sale Moor, and Partington to create stronger, healthier, more connected communities.
Local organisations work alongside older residents to identify what matters most to them and agree practical actions to improve quality of life. This includes developing local activities, strengthening access to advice and services, improving shared spaces and building stronger neighbourhood connections.
Carrie Williams is the Live Well in Later Life coordinator for Trafford.
