HOURS OF WORK: 21
SALARY: ACTUAL £17,586 (FTE 35hrs £29,309 pa) plus pension contributions and cash health plan
START DATE: ASAP

JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Communities in Motion Coordinator to coordinate and deliver community-based physical activity opportunities for older people across Salford and Trafford. The post holder will plan, deliver, promote, and support the evaluation of the programme. They will work closely with participants, volunteers, community organisations and partners to develop inclusive activities that encourage older people to become and stay active and live healthier lifestyles. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a sound understanding of the needs of older people, and the ability to motivate and engage people from diverse backgrounds.
