Important Information Regarding COVID-19

The Trustees and Management of the Age UK Tunbridge Wells Day Centre have taken the decision to suspend services for older people at its centre in Wood Street, Tunbridge Wells, with effect from Wednesday 18th March. We have had no reported cases of COVID-19. For advice about COVID-19 please follow the link on the right to the NHS website.

While it is possible to do so, Age UK Tunbridge Wells aims to provide community support to residents of Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas who are isolated and have no other means of help. This might include, but is not limited to, a hot meals delivery service and a shopping delivery service.

Sandra Springett is the charity's Chief Officer:

"We are committed to helping older people in the community to stay safe and well in their own homes. We will prioritise those in the greatest need while protecting the safety and well-being of our staff and volunteers. We will continue to monitor updates on COVID-19 from the government and the NHS and act in accordance with their advice."
