What we do
-
Advice & Information
Our trained advisors offer free information and advice to older people and their families. In 2017 our advisers helped local older people to claim over £600,000 that they were entitled to.
-
Practical support
We have a shopping service for people unable to get to the shops. We also have a handyperson service for practical jobs and safety modifications in the home - in 2017 we completed 3289 jobs
-
Friendship
Our volunteer befrienders visit or take out lonely or vulnerable older people in the community who have no one to talk to or support them. In 2017 our volunteers visited over 500 older people in our community.
-
Local Partnerships
We work in partnership with local organisations to provide better services for older people. These include local Community Adult Health Teams, Wandsworth Council and the Metropolitan Police.
