Age UK Wandsworth is a local independent charity. We help over 10,000-15,000 local older people every year, offering services, support and information. It's a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.

Our head office is based at 549 Old York Road, SW18 1TQ and our Day Centre is based is at 52 East Hill, SW18 2HJ.

Due to the nature of the work that we carry out, our staff work from our office, day centre and in the community. Therefore, please note that unless it is otherwise stated, all roles advertised will require the successful candidate to work on-site.

  • Home Together Administrator

    Job Title: Home Together Administrator

    Salary:     £26,936 per annum

    Hours:     35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    Contract: Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location: Wandsworth (this is not a remote role)

    We are looking for an administrator to support the Home Together Coordinator to facilitate our Home Together Service. The Home Together Service provides reactive assistance for up to six weeks from a clients return from hospital and remote ongoing support thereafter.

    The Home Together Administrator assists the Home Together Coordinator to deliver a wide range of practical and emotional support to older people who are having difficulties; for example, older people who have recently been discharged from hospital and/or are recovering from illness or injury, and/or are socially isolated and need support to stay healthy, connected, and independent. This busy and varied role will involve working with volunteers, the staff team, voluntary partners, and health and social care providers, with the client at the centre of everything we do.

  • Marketing & Events Coordinator

    Job Title:  Marketing & Events Coordinator

    Salary:      £29,286 per annum

    Hours:      35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    Contract:  Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location:  Wandsworth (this is not a remote role)

    Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer a variety of services with the goal of helping older people to #AgeWellinWandsworth. Our charity is consistently growing, so we are creating this new role to support our CEO with social media, marketing and organising events.

    The role will suit someone who is calm, mature, professional, organised and creative and will be comfortable working directly with a creative and curious CEO committed to transforming the charity’s online presence.

    Job Title:  Finance Assistant

    Salary:      £26,936 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

    Hours:      28 to 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    Our charity is growing and we are now seeking a calm, professional and organised Finance Assistant for our Head Office to help our small team become even more efficient in serving older residents in the borough.

    Job Title: Operations Assistant

    Salary:     £26,936 FTE per annum (pro rata for part-time)

    Hours:      21 hours per week (between Mon - Fri)

    Contract:  Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

This is a new role in our staff team that has been created to support our Executive Team during an exciting transition period where the organisation is growing and developing new services to help older people.
