Age UK Wandsworth is a local independent charity. We help over 10,000-15,000 local older people every year, offering services, support and information. It's a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.

Our head office is based at 549 Old York Road, SW18 1TQ and our Day Centre is based is at 52 East Hill, SW18 2HJ.

  • Finance Assistant

    Salary:          £26,936 per annum (to be pro-rated if part-time)

    Hours:          28 to 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

    Contract:      Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location:     Wandsworth (this is not a remote role)

    Age UK Wandsworth has been supporting older residents across Wandsworth for over 60 years. We are an independent, well-established and trusted charity that serves approximately 15,000 residents a year in Wandsworth. Our goal is to help residents age well in Wandsworth and to build confidence and resilience to stay living healthily and independently for as long as possible.

    This role will suit an organised and detail-oriented individual with good interpersonal skills, a professional approach, and the ability to work through challenges in a dynamic environment. You will be a key part of a small, friendly team who are busy making a difference to the lives of older people in Wandsworth.

  • Marketing & Events Coordinator

    Salary:           £29,286 per annum

    Hours:           35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    Contract:       Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location:      Wandsworth (this is not a remote role)

    Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer a variety of services with the goal of helping older people to #AgeWellinWandsworth. Our charity is consistently growing, so we are creating this new role to support our CEO with social media, marketing and organising events.

    The role will suit someone who is calm, mature, professional, organised and creative and will be comfortable working directly with a creative and curious CEO committed to transforming the charity’s online presence.

  • Gym Instructor

    Salary:      £27,482 per annum

    Hours:      35 hours per week, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

    Contract:  Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location:  Wandsworth (this is not a remote role)

    Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer a variety of services with the goal of helping older people to age well in Wandsworth.

    Our charity is consistently growing and our next step is to open a specialist Gym for older people, people with disabilities, people with dementia and people with chronic health conditions. This brand-new role will suit someone who is professional, customer-focused, energetic and passionate about exercise being inclusive.

  • Executive Team Administrator

    Salary:    £26,936 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part time hours)

    Hours:    21 hours per week (between Mon - Fri)

    Contract: Permanent (with a six-month probationary period)

    Location: Office-based role at 549 Old York Road & 52 East Hill, Wandsworth

    This is a new role in our staff team that has been created to support our Executive Team during an exciting transition period where the organisation is growing and developing new services to help older people. This role will suit an experienced, efficient and conscientious administrative professional who wants to work with a small team who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people.
