Working directly with older people, often visiting people at home, you’ll have a direct impact on their quality of later life, helping to put money into people’s pockets and supporting them to become better connected with their communities.

You will support volunteers who will be providing a range of practical and other support to older people in the project areas.

Each post is 17.5 hours a week. One post is based in both Marlborough and Calne, with approximately equal time spent in each town; the other post will cover the rural areas of South West Wiltshire. Travel expenses will be paid from the base areas.

If you have empathy, a natural affinity with people and an understanding of the issues affecting older people in your community, we’d love to hear from you!
