While our buildings may be closed and our resources may be stretched we are still here to help and we continue to:

  • Offer information 0808 196 2424, aiming to be a reliable, easy-to-understand source of advice for all older people, their friends, family and carers.
  • Offer Telephone Befriending calls for older people who may be especially isolated during these times 
  • Provide a Meals+ service delivered to the door for older people living in their own home

Later life can be an active and fulfilling experience. Age UK Wiltshire is here to help achieve that and to provide support to people if and when they need it.

    Our Wellbeing Service works together with the Information and Advice team and if someone has been identified as requiring further help, the Wellbeing Service may be able to help through providing additional support.

    The Meals+ service is available for lunchtime deliveries to your home on every day of the year and has been specifically created for older people living in Wiltshire and Swindon.

  • Home from Hospital

    The Home from Hospital service is in place to help support older people who have returned home after a stay in hospital.  It is a temporary service designed to support with everyday tasks until the client feels able to cope on their own again.

    Age UK Wiltshire have established several Fitness and Friendship Clubs offering gentle exercise that is designed to help maintain independence and promote balance.
