Role Overview
Hours of work: 24 hours per week
Salary: £12.84 per hour
Location: Malvern Office (with travel across the whole of Worcestershire)
The Minor Adaptations Service supports older people to live safely, independently, and confidently in their own homes by providing practical home adaptations that reduce risk, improve accessibility, and promote wellbeing.
The Minor Adaptations Technician is responsible for delivering a high-quality service on behalf of Age UK. The post holder will install minor adaptations, including grab rails, handrails, key safes, galvanised railing and half steps, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The role requires a client-focused approach, working respectfully within clients' homes, maintaining accurate records, complying with health and safety and safeguarding requirements, and contributing to the effective delivery of the service in line with contractual standards and Age UK's Wyvern’s values.
