coventry older voices logoCoventry Older Voices are a group of older people who speak out on behalf of Coventry’s over-50's. We are supported by Age UK Coventry, but we are an independent organisation.

We aim both to ensure that our interests are not overlooked, and to contribute our experience and skills for the benefit of all Coventrians. photo of COV members with megaphones

Our recent activities have included:

  • Campaigning against the closure of public toilets in the City centre.
  • Trying to address the problem of the dangerous use of bicycles and skateboards in pedestrian areas.
  • Pressing for improvements to public transport, especially bus travel.
  • Holding public meetings with guest speakers on topics of interest to our members.

We publish a bi-monthly newsletter, which is delivered free to members, either by post or by email.
