Our services are continually being reviewed and adapted depending on the needs of the clients, changes within COVID-19 guidelines and the capacity of the service.

From 16th June, we have a pilot group meeting face-to-face, utilising covid-safe practices at the Claremont Centre in Rugby; other groups to open from 19th July.

Home visits and well-being telephone calls continue, utilising covid-safe practices.

Service offer for dementia clients and their carers living in Warwickshire.

We are continuing to provide a range of dementia support services for individuals with dementia and their carers.

We are accepting new referrals. Every new referral is risk and needs assessed to ensure we are able to support the individuals' needs in the best possible way.

We have adapted our services due to COVID-19 to offer greater choice and flexibility to clients and their carers. The new dementia offer includes a "Blended Support Offer" this includes the following services:

Home Visits - this involves one-to-one home visits in the clients' own home. Perhaps the clients may like to go out for a walk. Staff will spend quality time sharing hobbies and interests with the client, whilst allowing the carer to have a break.
Telephone Support - This involves regular and on-going support to both to the client and the carer.
Community Based Support - This involves small groups of 2 to 3 individuals meeting outdoors for mutual support, facilitated by staff in settings such as a cafe, garden centre, the park etc
Building Based Support - This involves the provision of what is known as the traditional "Day Opportunities" where clients can meet during the day in a safe and supportive environment and enjoy socialising, making friends, a wide variety of interesting and interactive activities and stimulation.
