Equilaw fundrasie to support older people in Gloucestershire!

We chose Age UK Gloucestershire as our charity partner this year, not only because their work resonates so deeply with our clients, but because their cause is such a worthy one. We believe our paths aligned and we’re both making a difference so that everyone can enjoy a later life, lived better.

We started our year strong with a wonderful Easter raffle to raise money, and we’ve continued over the months to garner as much support and raise those all-important funds as we can. In June/July, we got into the Wimbledon spirit, and a sweepstake took over Equilaw HQ – after a surprising turn of events, we crowned our winners in the midst of tennis fever. August saw us take a new approach with a good old-fashioned treasure hunt, aptly named Equi-Law & Disorder. It was wonderful to see the teams racing round the office for clues and getting into that competitive spirit, and all in the name of charity too – we couldn’t have asked for more.

As we look ahead at the next few months, September’s set to be a piece of cake with a tempting bake sale, whilst October will see our teams go head-to-head in a friendly who can raise the most money battle. As the colder months roll in and we take a slower approach before Christmas, we’re looking forward to a pyjama day for the teams too! Our charity committee continue to push for ideas to fundraise and do so whilst serving our clients tirelessly.
