What does ageing well mean to older people in your community?
Help us find out - and get paid
We're looking for people aged 60+ to become Peer Researchers.
No experience is needed - just an interest in people and listening and you’ll
be paid for your time. As a Peer Researcher, you’ll bring together a small
group of 5 people (aged 60+) and lead a relaxed, friendly discussion, similar
to a focus group. We’re looking to hear from people in:
- Minority ethnic communities
- Minority religious communites
- Disabled communities
- LGBTQ+ communities

- are friendly and welcoming
- enjoy listening to others
- like taking part in group activities
- have good connections in your community
- can help bring together 5 participants aged 60+
- are aged 60+ yourself
- are available to attend a full training day in
Gloucester on Tuesday, 4 August
What you’ll receive
- £27.50 per hour for around 4-4.5 days’
work, between August 2026 and early
2027 - Full training to run your group
- Help to recruit participants
- Ongoing support throughout
- A chance to help shape the research
findings
