Get Your Wishes in Order with Hull City Council and Age UK HEY
Published on 07 July 2026 01:40 PM
Learn how to write down your wishes for your funeral service for free at this drop-in session at Age UK Hull and East Yorkshire.
Hull City Coucil have launched a ‘Get Your Wishes in Order’ campaign aiming to normalise talking about death and what we want for our funeral.
Join Hull City Council and Age UK HEY at our drop-in event that are open to all to collect your free 'Get your wishes in order' folder and ask any questions you may have about planning for funerals.
The folders ask questions such as which music you would like at your funeral, your favourite reading or poem, and memories you would like mentioning in your eulogy. Don't be put off, speaking about these things or simply writing them down can help the loved ones that you leave behind one day in the future.
So, no matter your age or health, please consider collecting a folder.
Visitors can drop into the event below to collect a folder, which you can fill in to let those who will organise your funeral know what you would want at your funeral service. Once completed, you can store it away until your family may need it.
