Kick off with a Verse

Wednesday mornings, Sept 2025-July 2026
Park Theatre, Clifton Terrace, N4 3JP

From September, join Park Theatre for a series of weekly 90-minute sessions which use writing to support people who care for loved ones living with dementia. Sessions use poetry to reflect on the experiences of being an unpaid carer and tap into creative parts of ourselves. In a session we learn different ways to relax, listen to written verse, noticing what it brings up for us. We then write down some words of our own.

For those who wish to come to Park Theatre with the person they care for, sessions run alongside Together in Time, Park Theatre’s singing group for people living with dementia and companions. Both groups meet in the same building, at the same time, allowing care partners to take part in Kick Off with a Verse.
