Age UK Lincolnshire is an independent local charity, a brand partner of Age UK, supporting more than 6,000 people per month, and demand for our services continues to grow. That’s why we’re looking for a motivated, compassionate and forward‑thinking I Forget Service Advisor to join our dedicated I Forget team.

This is more than just an advisory role. It’s a chance to support people with memory concerns, dementia (with or without diagnosis) and their carers, helping them stay connected, informed and empowered to live meaningful lives in their own communities.

About the role

Our I Forget Service Advisors (IFAs) are at the heart of our countywide I Forget Service. You will be a recognisable and accessible point of contact for anyone experiencing cognitive impairment, as well as their carers, families and local professionals. You will:

  • Provide holistic, person‑centred advice
  • Carry out strength‑based assessments
  • Deliver ongoing reviews and personalised support plans
  • Signpost and refer to the right support at the right time
  • Support individuals through face‑to‑face, telephone or virtual appointments
  • Help people stay connected in their communities
  • Develop local social groups and meaningful activities
  • Build strong relationships with professionals across Lincolnshire’s Integrated Care System
  • Contribute to a central Hub, triaging referrals and managing low‑level crisis points
  • Support carers with learning opportunities and emergency response planning

This is a varied, impactful and rewarding role, blending community outreach, individual casework and supportive teamwork.
