Community Care Responder
Age UK Lincolnshire is an independent local charity, a brand partner of Age UK, supporting more than 6,000 people every month. Following a consistent increase in demand, we are looking for motivated and empathetic Community Responders to join our team.
▪ Based in Long Bennington, covering countywide as required.
▪ 35 hours (5 days), 28 hours (4 days) and Bank staff
▪ Shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
▪ £24,687 (FTE) per annum | £13.56 per hour
▪ Permanent contract and a Maternity cover contract available
▪ Driving licence and own vehicle is essential

Our Community Responders play a vital role in helping older people stay safe, independent and supported in place they love most: their own home. No two days are ever the same. You’ll respond to a wide range of situation, offering calm, practical support and genuine reassurance when it matters most.
Your day might include:
- Working with partners to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and reduce unnecessary hospital stays
- Responding to lifeline calls and assisting with falls
- Supporting mobility and recovery at home
- Providing medication prompts
- Preparing meals and offering personal care support
- Being the friendly face a client looks forward to seeing.
Every visit is given the time it needs – no rushing, no unrealistic expectations. Just proper, person centred care and meaningful connection.
