  • Christmas Celebrations!

Last week we hosted not one, but two free Community Christmas Events, both of which were sponsored by local business, The Watercress Company!

Firstly with their support, we hosted a community Christmas dinner at the Trumper Major in Dorchester where guests were nominated to join us for a free two course dinner to spread some festive cheer, we have attendees from Dorchester, Weymouth, Wareham and even Blandford join us and those who arrives as strangers left as friends!

We then celebrated with a free carol concert with performances from Nina Garcia, Damers first school and our very own melodies for memories! Guests enjoyed a sing along with others and of course, mince pies!

Here's what Terri Lewis, Chief Executive Officer said “Events like these are so much more than just another event, it can be a lifeline for many in our community who might otherwise feel isolated during the festive period. Thanks to the Watercress Company for sponsoring two free community events in as many days! As a local, independent charity, we rely on the goodwill of others to continue our vital support in the area, so we are truly grateful
