Age UK South Gloucestershire Afternoon Tea & Dance

At the beginning of October, we welcomed local older people to a wonderful Afternoon Tea & Dance, bringing the community together for an afternoon of friendship, music and fun.

Guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea while dancing and singing along to live entertainment in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The event provided an opportunity for people to socialise, make new connections and enjoy a lively afternoon, helping to combat loneliness and promote wellbeing.

It was fantastic to see so many people come together, sharing laughter, conversation and memorable moments. The Afternoon Tea & Dance highlights the important role community activities play in supporting older people across South Gloucestershire, creating opportunities to stay connected, active and engaged.
