Looking for an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of older people? Volunteering at our Day Centre for older adults, adults with dementia and adults with disabilities is a fun and fulfilling way to give back.

What does the role involve?

If you are caring, friendly and patient with a sense of fun, and looking to make a difference to the lives of older people, becoming a day centre volunteer could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The role is based at the Gwynneth Morgan Day Centre, our specialist day centre for older adults, adults with disabilities and adults with dementia. You'll be volunteering alongside our amazing team of support workers, assisting with our programme of activities which changes on a daily basis. Activities include arts and crafts, music sessions, sing-alongs, games such as bingo and quizzes, gardening and seated exercise. You could also be involved with our MCST group - a specialist programme for people with dementia, or helping out with our weekly coffee morning for over 60s.

Various opportunities are available based on our day centre schedule, which runs weekdays between the hours of 11am-3:30pm.
