Dementia Tea Dance 2023

On 19th May Age UK West Cumbria teamed up with Dementia Friendly Communities to organise the annual Dementia Tea Dance, as part of Dementia Action Week.
Age UK West Cumbria invited service users, local care groups, and older people in the community to attend the event; the turnout was absolutely astounding.
We were delighted to see everyone enjoying cups of tea, afternoon tea buffets (including delicious cake) and many, many scones with jam and clotted cream. But the fun didn't stop there - in fact, the food fueled us to get up and dance to the choir!
We would like to give thanks to Together We CIC and Copeland Age and Advice Service CIC for also coming along and providing their FREE information & resources to the attendees.
