We are pleased to announce that Age UK Westminster will be launching a new paid-for support service in September designed to help older people remain independent, safe and comfortable. This is delivered in partnership with Age UK Kensington & Chelsea and Age UK Hillingdon Harrow & Brent.

We are currently gauging interest and inviting people to join our waiting list ahead of launch.

Our Basic Footcare Service supports older people with routine foot and nail care to help maintain comfort, mobility and independence.

The service may include:
• Basic toenail cutting
• Fingernail cutting
• Simple foot checks
• Advice on everyday foot comfort and hygiene
• Signposting or referrals where specialist support may be needed

Please note that this is a non-clinical, preventative service and is not suitable for complex foot conditions or medical treatment needs. Basic Footcare appointments will take place in community settings only.
