At Age UK Westminster we support those living with dementia in various ways.

Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST)

Face to face sessions available for people living with dementia in Westminster. Group members will take part in meaningful and stimulating activities through our weekly 24-session Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) programme proven to help maintain memory and mental function. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new relationships.

MCST Activities include:

● Discussions
● Word games
● Quizzes
● Physical activities
● Creative and musical activities

Our weekly group takes place at St Marylebone Parish Church, 17 Marylebone Rd, London NW1 5LT, from 2.30-4.00pm.

The Heart of Westminster Memory Cafe

The Heart of Westminster Café is a Memory Café for Westminster which offers a relaxed, informal setting for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to get together.

The Heart of Westminster Café will provide a mixture of talks, information and advice, entertainment and activities.

The Café will be held every third Monday of the month from 11.00-1.00 at Salvation Army, Regent Hall, 275 Oxford Street, London, W1C 2DJ.

Group Support Volunteer

Are you interested in volunteering to support face to face group sessions for people living with dementia in Westminster?

Our volunteers make a unique contribution to the life of people living with dementia. There is little that cannot be achieved through shared enthusiasm, creativity, a diversity of skills and range of experience.

We welcome those of all ages and backgrounds who would like to improve the quality of life for those living with dementia in Westminster.
