We are pleased to announce that Age UK Westminster will be launching a new paid-for support service in September designed to help older people remain independent, safe and comfortable. This is delivered in partnership with Age UK Kensington & Chelsea and Age UK Hillingdon Harrow & Brent.

We are currently gauging interest and inviting people to join our waiting list ahead of launch.

Our Help at Home Service provides practical, reliable support for older people who may be finding everyday household tasks more difficult due to age, mobility issues, ill health, frailty, bereavement or changing circumstances.

Support may include:
• Light cleaning and tidying
• Laundry and changing bed linen
• Basic kitchen cleaning
• Help keeping living spaces safe and manageable
• Practical support to reduce risks around the home
• Companionship
• Respite support so carers can take a break
• Regular friendly contact and reassurance

This service is designed to complement existing support and help older people maintain a clean, comfortable and dignified home environment. The service is not a personal care service and does not replace regulated care, nursing support or specialist cleaning.
