Job Title Community Connector
Hours 7hrs per week
Contract

Fixed term contract to 31st March 2027 (May be extended)

Salary 

£27,532 per annum FTE (pro rata sum will be dependent on hours).

Location Covers the areas of Laverstock, Ford, and the communities of Bishopdown Farm (Hampton Park and Riverdown Park), Old Sarum, Longhedge and part of MilfordTravel expenses will be paid from the base area.

  This post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check.   

Role Description:

Age UK Wiltshire is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated person to support older people to access information and advice and to become better connected with their communities, particularly people who are on a low income, socially isolated, or find it difficult to access services.

Working directly with older people, often visiting people at home, you’ll have a direct impact on their quality of later life, helping to put money into people’s pockets and supporting them to become better connected with their communities.

If you have empathy, a natural affinity with people and an understanding of the issues affecting older people in your community, we’d love to hear from you!
