Age UK Wolverhampton is an independent local charity which has provided services, support, advice and information to older people in Wolverhampton for seventy years.  We work to promote the wellbeing of all older people and help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Development Officer - 3 days / 22.5 hours a week

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to cover a range of areas including: - activities and service delivery - community engagement - supporting project administration

Information & Advice Bank Staff

We are developing a bank of Information and Advice specialist advisors who we can call to carry out a few hours of work on an occasional basis. The role involves providing telephone support to our clients, including benefit assessment checks, supporting applications for benefits including applications forms.

Home Support Workers

We are looking for individuals who would be interested in working for a couple of hours a week as a Home Support Worker, assisting an older person. We are looking for workers who are able to relate well to older people, and this role would be suitable for older active people. Roles will vary and you will be matched with a person based on the skills that you are confident to offer - such as shopping, accompanied trips, light housework, companionship. You will need to be reliable and dependable, and if successful undertake a DBS check. Handyperson - 15hrs per week (overtime available)

We are looking for individuals to work flexibly as part of our handyperson service.
