 Engagement and Projects Officer

 

 

 

Reporting to: Service Manager

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Engagement and Projects Officer to help us connect with older people, strengthen community partnerships and support the delivery of exciting projects.

If you enjoy building relationships, increasing uptake into our services and supporting key projects that make a real difference to older people, this could be the role for you.

Job Purpose:  

To increase awareness, engagement and uptake of Age UK Wolverhampton services through community outreach, project delivery and communications activity.

To build relationships with local communities and stakeholders, increase referrals and service enquiries, support the delivery of key services and grant-funded projects and ensure older people are aware of and able to access the support available to them.

The post-holder will be managed by the Information and Advice Manager and work directly to the CEO on key areas as required.

Information & Advice Bank Staff

We are developing a bank of Information and Advice specialist advisors who we can call to carry out a few hours of work on an occasional basis. The role involves providing telephone support to our clients, including benefit assessment checks, supporting applications for benefits including applications forms.
