We know that planning for later life can be daunting and overwhelming. As part of this service our advisors can point you in the right direction for both types of Lasting Power of Attorney, Will writing and funeral planning.
Wills
Having a Will allows your relatives to easily sort things out when you pass away. Without a Will, rules that dictate money, property and possessions will come into force, which may not be what you want. In addition, unmarried partners cannot inherit from each other and any wishes for children may not be carried out, unless a written Will is present.

Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)
These are legal documents that allow you to appoint one or more people to help make decisions or make decisions on your behalf, when you are no longer able to. It is reassuring to know that somebody you have chosen, and trust is able to make decisions for you, rather than a stranger that you do not know or trust.

Funeral plans
A Funeral Plan allows to you plan and pay for your funeral in advance, fixing prices at today's rate. This all helps relieve some of the stress and worry for your loved ones further down the line. A typical funeral at today's rate costs on average of £4,078, with prices only expected to rise over the next few years.
