Age UK Barnsley host big Christmas Party

Age UK Barnsley this week (13th December) hosted a big Christmas Party at the Holiday Inn in Dodworth for their clients and volunteers to celebrate the festive period.
Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course Christmas dinner, live entertainment from local musician Mr Sixties, raffle, quiz and even a visit from Father Christmas who handed out presents to all those in attendance!
Commenting, Age UK Barnsley Chief Executive Debby Bunn, said:
“We had a wonderful time at our big Christmas Party, bringing together our fabulous clients and volunteers for an afternoon of good food, good company and lots of festive cheer!
“Big thanks to all who made the Christmas Party possible – be that organising the event, providing entertainment or supporting in the run up. Particular thanks and appreciation must go to Father Christmas whose visit was hugely appreciated by the guests.
