Our Befriending service supports older adults by alleviating loneliness and isolation, supporting independence, and increasing self-confidence, by making weekly or fortnightly phone calls or visits to a client living in the borough of Croydon.

  • Exercise Class Support

    Assist the Healthier Lifestyles team at community events by helping to set up, support, and supervise exercise classes, ensuring participants stay engaged, feel comfortable, and enjoy a positive experience while promoting health and wellbeing.

    To be a warm and friendly face representing Age UK Croydon. Greet and welcome visitors, staff, volunteers and clients into our Brigstock Road office, answer or signpost enquiries, and maintain the reception area. Data input and ad hoc duties where required.

    Our Information & Advice (I&A) Service supports people over the age of 50 across the borough of Croydon. We are looking for a volunteer to help on our Telephone Helpline. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be helping clients and making a positive difference to their lives.
