The Respite Care Service and Carer's Project Young woma - Old woman

The Respite Care Service is provided within Monmouthshire and Newport counties.

Following an initial visit by a member of staff, the appropriate service is then provided by trained care workers. 

There is no charge for this service. 

The service can be delivered 24 hours, 7 days a week, throughout the year.

The Carers Community Service
operates within Blaenau Gwent


Blaenau Gwent Carers Community Service offers confidential advice and information to carers aged 18 or over. The service operates “drop in” clinics throughout the area with advice and guidance provided on benefits, care assessments and respite options. There are free weekly group events to help carers take time away from their caring responsibilities with special events coordinated throughout the year.
