This Christmas, we are inviting local businesses, schools and community groups to help us create 1,000 Christmas Connections for older people across East London.
A Christmas Connection could be a handwritten card, a festive meal, a gift, a conversation or a place at one of our Christmas celebrations. Every connection helps someone feel remembered, valued and part of their community.

Become a Corporate Partner
Sponsor a Christmas celebration, support the campaign through a corporate donation, organise a team fundraiser, or volunteer with colleagues.

For many older people, Christmas can highlight the challenges they face throughout the year, including loneliness, bereavement, poor health, caring responsibilities and financial hardship.

Ways we could work together
Support your employees who are also carers - host a Prepare to Care session
- 1 in 7 UK employees are also unpaid carers, balancing work with the demands of looking after a loved one. Many do so silently, often until they reach a crisis point.
Our Prepare to Care Lunch & Learn sessions are designed to raise awareness, foster empathy, and equip your workforce with the tools they need to support themselves and their colleagues.

Charity of the year
Choose Age UK East London as your official charity and engage your staff a calendar of activities tailored to you and special recognition.
Sponsor an event and volunteer
By sponsoring an event you help us with the costs, for example, food and decorations, and in return get some great PR and local media coverage. It's a great way for staff to bond by working together to help vulnerable older people. Previous supporters have funded and served Christmas lunches, and Chinese New Year.

An easy and effective way to fundraise is through the Payroll Giving scheme where donations are taken before tax, giving immediate tax relief on the donation.

We are proud to be partnered with Travel Trade Consultancy, a local B-Corp certified business based in East London. The Travel Trade Consultancy team have selected Age UK East London as their 2026-2027 charity partner. Their team fundraises and volunteers to improve the lives of older people and the services that they use.

Pay.UK, the UK’s retail payments system operator, has supported Age UK East London since 2024. They have selected Age UK East London as their three-year charity partner starting 2025 and are committed to making positive social impact through employment practices, commitment to greater diversity and inclusion, and targeted community and charity outreach activities through this partnership. Their team fundraises and regularly volunteers to improve the lives of older people in East London.
Colt Technology Services, a global digital infrastructure company, have partnered with Age UK East London on a digital inclusion programme since 2025. This collaboration included making a CSR donation and hosting techy tea parties to support older people and bridge the digital divide.
