Could our Digital Champions help you or a loved one?

Sometimes knowing where to start with technology can be daunting. Our Digital Champion Volunteers can help you embrace all things digital, safely and with confidence. This project aims to motivate and inspire you to get online, offering you support to engage safely and securely in the digital world. Volunteer Digital Champions will offer in depth and bespoke one-to-one support to help you develop your digital skills and confidence.

Our Digital Champion volunteers can help you get friendly with your laptop, iPad or Smartphone so you can operate it confidently and safely, we can even loan you a Tablet so you can practice in your own home and at your own pace. Support can be provided over the phone, online, or at one of our community hubs by prearranged appointment. We can offer a home visit to help you set up a device and connect to the internet if needed.

Our friendly volunteers will patiently guide you through learning what you want to know more about and how to make the most of your device. Building your IT confidence and learning how to use your device can enable you to more easily keep in touch with family and friends, as well as connect with new people, such as our online community!

How to access Digital Support…

Our Digital Champion Volunteers are based in the community, at easily-accessible locations. They are often attached to Social Groups, so you can have a cup of tea, and meet new people at the same time.
