What makes our gentle social walks special?

Come along and join our new group walks for people who are interested in moving more, and being more sociable.

All walks are very gentle, and are designed to be accessible to everyone of all fitness levels. They are planned around level terrain and accessibility. This includes access to toilets and nearby parking or easy access by public transport. Our walks are about 30 minutes long and we tend to not walk further than a mile. Our walks are all planned on circular routes and there is the opportunity to cut them shorter if a person does not feel up to the whole walk.

We offer the chance to socialise after every session with other participants, Age UK Gloucestershire colleagues and volunteers. Tea/coffee and biscuits or cake are provided (suggested donation of £1 towards refreshments)/

If you are interested, please contact our Project Coordinator, Ida Pöschel on 07599 109936 or at IPoschel@ageukgloucestershire.org.uk for an initial chat, and to arrange a meeting.
