Pride Walks 2023 - Worcester and Malvern

On Saturday 15th July, we joined in the celebrations at Worcestershire Pride to help raise awareness for our LGBTQ+ community, promote equality and champion diversity!

It was a special day as hundreds flocked to the streets of Worcester to take part and show their support! We took part in the parade through the high street as you can see in the photos, and it was great fun to represent Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire at such an important event!

Our team also had a space where we got the opportunity to chat with some friendly faces and spread the word about what support or activities they are missing out on.

There was an incredible amount of interest in the services we provide for the local LGBTQ+ community; we thought we'd share them with you too! 

If you fancy getting to know other like-minded people and having a safe space to express yourself over an afternoon tea or coffee, why not join us at the Gay Women's Group who meet every other Wednesday, 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Malvern Cube. The group has grown over recent months and is a friendly group that will make you feel welcome and at home!
