Help Shape the Future of Dementia Support in Kent & Medway

Published on 28 August 2026 12:43 PM

Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford is supporting the Kent and Medway Provider Alliance in helping ensure that the voices of people living with dementia, their families and carers are heard as part of the wider Pre and Post Dementia Transformation work.

A short questionnaire is currently open for people who have experience of dementia support before or after diagnosis, either personally or as a family member or carer.

The questionnaire closes on Friday 4 September 2026.

This is not an Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford survey, but we are pleased to support and share it because feedback from people with direct experience of dementia services can play an important role in shaping future support across Kent and Medway.

Why your views matter

The questionnaire gives people an opportunity to share their experiences, views and ideas around dementia support.

Feedback received may help inform:

  • Future dementia support services
  • Improvements to pre- and post-diagnosis support
  • Commissioning priorities
  • How services can better meet the needs of people living with dementia
  • Support available to families and carers

Whether your experience has been positive, challenging or somewhere in between, your views can help provide a clearer picture of what is working well and where improvements may be needed.

Complete the questionnaire

If you have experience of dementia support before or after diagnosis, you can complete the questionnaire here:

Please also share the questionnaire with anyone you know who may have relevant experience of dementia services in Kent and Medway.

Closing date: Friday 4 September 2026.

Every experience matters, and every voice can help shape the future of dementia support.
